Support colleagues affected by natural disasters 

Optometry’s Fund for Disaster Relief (OFDR), a program of The AOA Foundation, has changed the lives of doctors and students by providing immediate financial relief for critical and urgent needs in the wake of disasters, needs such as food, clothing and shelter. 

Disasters are unpredictable and can be life-altering; it is the goal of The AOA Foundation to ensure that the fund is always poised and ready to help, so doctors can get back to doing what they do best. OFDR provides support affected doctors and students, helping them to continue delivering critical patient care during times of crisis.

• Apply for an OFDR grant if you’ve been affected by a recent disaster.
