Through media outreach, social media, paid advertising, influencer partnerships, patient testimonials, and more, the campaign underscores the importance of annual, in-person eye exams while educating the public about the essential, primary care optometrists provide across the U.S. For 2025 year-to-date, AOA has generated more than 352k clicks to the doctor locator and Eye Deserve More campaign landing page (which has a doctor locator widget)—a 246% increase since its launch.

STEP-BY-STEP INSTRUCTIONS

1. Log in to Your AOA Account

 Visit:https://www.aoa.org/my-account/PersonalProfile/PersonalProfile

2. Update Your Special Emphases

Click the Special Emphases tab.

When finished, click Update Special Emphasis.

3. Navigate to Your Business Profile(s)

On the right side, you should see:

Click Business Profile(s)

4. Select Your Practice and Click “Update”

Find the practice location you want to modify.

Click Update next to that location.

This opens the full practice profile dashboard.

5. Open the “Practice Services” Tab

Select: Practice Services

6. Select All Services Your Practice Provides

Click Update Practice Services when finished.

7. Confirm Accuracy on the AOA Doctor Locator
