It’s a new year and new legislative prospects are abounding. At the Federal level, the transition of power is about to take place with the swearing in of President Trump. In turn, many Floridian legislators at both the Federal and State level have been chosen as appointees to serve in President Trump's administration. This means many of our current Floridian Legislators will head off to serve in new roles and new legislators will need to be chosen to replace them for our upcoming Florida Legislative Session. As you can imagine, this makes strategic legislative planning interesting. However, your FOA Leadership team has been working very hard to prepare for Florida Optometry to move forward this legislative session and we look forward to sharing good  news and new updates with you by the end of this month. To do so, FOA will set up a series of webinars to keep everyone abreast of developments as they take place AND will certainly be relying on all FOA Grassroots Key People to help with the mission.
