Annual Convention July 18-21, 2019
The Florida Optometric Association invites you to our 117th Annual Convention. Join us for a weekend of continuing education and social affairs at FOA's Annual Convention Thursday, July 18 through Sunday, July 21.
Experience Disney's Yacht & Beach Club with views of Disney's iconic fireworks every night for the FOA-discounted rate of just $199 (two adults included in rate, +$25 per extra adult per night after first two).
There are also rooms available at Disney's Boardwalk Inn (ten minute walk from Disney's Yacht Club) with a group rate of $250 per room (two adults included in rate, +$25 per extra adult per night after first two).
Alternatively, rooms are also open at Disney's Coronado Springs Resort with a group rate of $189 (including two adults, +$25 per extra adult per night and free for children under 18). Only rooms with king-sized beds are available.
A link to access the room block will be contained in your email confirmation after registering for the convention.
*The FOA-discounted hotel block is for registered convention attendees only. Hotel reservations made by non-convention attendees will be promptly canceled. OD registrations are eligible for up to two rooms at the group rate; OP, social, student/resident, and banquet only registrations are eligible for one room per registration.
FOA Member Ticket - Includes welcome reception, exhibit hall, legislative brunch, membership/delegate meetings, evening hospitality suites and education (must be a dues paying member for 6 months). You must log in to your FOA account to receive reduced pricing.
*Newly licensed ODs should register under the FOA/AOA/or non-member rate as appropriate. Newly licensed ODs cannot register under student/resident rates.
AOA Member Ticket - Includes welcome reception, evening hospitality suites, exhibit hall and education
Optometry Student Education - Includes education and exhibit hall. Must be a student member of the FOA. You must log in to your FOA account to receive reduced pricing.
Resident Education - Includes education and exhibit hall. Must be a post-graduate/resident member of the FOA. You must log in to your FOA account to receive reduced pricing.
Non-member of FOA or AOA - Includes education, welcome reception, evening hospitality suites and exhibit hall.
OP/Optician Education (One Day) - Includes OP/Optician education and exhibit hall (ODs not eligible) for Saturday. OP Courses are CPC approved; LDO courses are approved for general or elective credit through the Board of Opticianry. ODs not eligible.
Social - Includes welcome reception, exhibit hall, and evening hospitality suites (If you are a member, it also includes legislative lunch and business/delegate meetings.)
Banquet - Access to the banquet.
Exhibit Hall - complimentary access to the exhibit hall only (opens June 17, 2019)
Teleheath Symposium Only - complimentary access to the Telehealth Symspoium only on Saturday, July 20 at 1pm.
